My phone does not turn on..help?

My phone was working perfectly. Then I got a new phone so I took my sim card out of my note 4 and left it turned off and put it in my drawer. Now, after four months I try to turn it on..it doesn't.. When I try to charge it, nothing happens, the phone does not react to charging . But when I plug it to my PC I get an alert on my computer that an unrecognized device was plugged in. The phone still does nothing though… Any help?

Options

When a phone is totally discharged you have to connect it to the charger and leave it for a while before it will show any signs of life.

Yea I know.. I left in on charge through the whole night.. I even tried to change batteries.. nothing worked :/

While it was charging did the charging light or icon show?
