Hello
I want to change my working Radeon HD6770m 512 MB of my iMac Mid 2011 with a METAL capable replacement.
Any hints which model to choose? I have heard all PC MXM Cards should work, but I wonder which ones are the best supported for my iMac and its thermal Design, except Radeon HD 5xxx/6xxx.
Any Success stories here?

To start with you can’t swap out the MXM card with a PC version board as the firmware on the board needs to be Apples custom firmware.
You’ll need to wait a bit until the release of Mojave for the dust to settle to see what will be needed to get it to work.

How is the situation now? Which Card to go for?
I don't want to play, it should just be compatible with dosdude´s unsupported Mac Installs: www.dosdude1.com
