What is the small movable green line on my screen and how do I get rid

I have this small green line that has shown up on my Galaxy s9+. I can move it around but as far as I can tell, it does nothing. I’ve tried rebooting and all but no avail. I kind of thing it must be tied to an app I installed but I can’t figure out what one. Any ideas?

Hi,

Try starting the phone in safe mode and check if the line is still there.

If it has gone then the problem is being caused by a downloaded app.

As you say the trick is to find out which one.

Try to recall when the line first appeared and then check if you downloaded/installed/updated any apps around the same time.

You’ll need to uninstall each downloaded app and test the phone in normal mode, between each uninstall, to check if the line is still there.

Once it has gone then the last app that you uninstalled is the cause of the problem.

Found the problem. It was an app I installed that tracked the amount of time I spent on the phone. Thanks for your help!
