Right AirPod not working

Recently when I tried to use my AirPods with my MacBook Pro running macOS Mojave the right AirPod stopped playing sound and wouldn’t play sound at all. It works on other devices but not my MacBook Pro. Is this just a beta issue or is there a known fix.

Please tell me this is not your main machine that you are running a beta on.

Try your AirPod on your other Mac.

UPDATE

well it appears confined to this one machine, so it not the iPods.

I’m sure you have an external USB drive you can boot from with a lower system on it, with your level of experience with Macs. Boot from it to see if it can be isolated to the beta software. If so, report the problem to Apple using the Beta APP in your utility folder.

As I said it works on all other devices but this specific one. I have another one running Mojave just fine and it works on that one and all my other ones like High Sierra.
