Bixby button not working through case

I have the Bixby button remapped to skip songs. I got the Samsung LED view cover for 2 reasons, 1 it was 1/10th of the normal price, and 2 I could use the buttons without opening the case. Previously had a detachable magnet wallet case, loved that thing! But was travelling by bus for multiple hours and wanted to be able to access buttons without opening the case. The volume buttons work fine, but the Bixby button doesnt! It works when I open the case but not when its closed. Any solution? If not I'll just change to a different samsung case (bought 3 different ones very cheap) or go back to the original one I had on.
