Keyboard keeps popping up onscreen everytime I click my mouse.

I have a Miix (not one of the options offered on the menu of getting to this page.) Everytime I click my mouse (whether external or touchpad), my virtual keyboard pops up on the screen. Very frustrating and time consuming as I have to close it each time before proceeding as it often covers the area i’m working on. I went to all of the settings areas related to keyboard, display, etc., but couldn’t find anything that addressed this. It just started happening today.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Control Panel\Ease of Access\Ease of Access Center\Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard

Is "Use On-Screen Keyboard" checked? If so uncheck it.

It's not checked. Any other ideas? I have the same issue as original poster.

This issue just started happening to me today. Everything that was suggested did not work... "Ease of Access," "Control Panel," "Regedit," I went into Typing settings and turned off the "Show the Touch Keyboard when not in tablet mode and there's no keyboard attached" and that seems to have fixed it.
