Acer Aspire 5553G Bios

Hi

I have a laptop that has a corrupt bios I have full access to the board but am unable to find the bios chip there’s no sticker to idenify it.

Does anyone know the location of the chip?

So are we to understand that you tried to reflash the bios and it did not work?

Hi

thank you for the link I’ve wanted to try that but wasnt sure how to get the FD files all I have are zq2_123.bin and zq2_123wph.

if the above doesnt work then I’d like to either replace the chip or use a bios reprogrammer to reflash the chip but cant find the bios chip on the board there are a few of the same looking chips and none are labelled.

Laptop is now working thanks
