Error 4014 when restoring iPhone 5S

Hi, I completed a screen replacement on this phone, thinking the display was non-functional only to realize the phone was in recovery mode. I connected the phone to iTunes, completed the restore and applicable updates. The phone seemed to work fine after that, was a little warm when charging but I've seen that before with other phones. I charged the battery to 100%, unplugged and left overnight to test battery life.

This morning, the screen was black and phone was unresponsive. I connected to iTunes again, and got the message that the phone was in recovery mode again! I proceeded to restore the phone again and begin troubleshooting but once iTunes was able to bring the Apple logo onto the phone, the phone turned off and I keep getting error 4014. I've tried multiple cables that I know are working. At one point, the Apple logo appeared, the screen turned red then turned off, once again with error 4014.

Has anyone experienced this before? I'm just curious if I should be investing a lot of time into this phone if it's a big job to fix. Thanks for your time!!

It's probably booting up into DFU mode, you can confirm this by pressing on the screen and see if you can see white marks appearing meaning the screen is on but displaying a black screen.

Also you can use 3UTools to check this too. Whenever I get iPhone 5s's that have the exact same symptoms like yours, I've never managed to fix the problem.
