Upgrading Spinning drive to SSD with same formfactor

Hi All

I have a question regarding MAC MINI. Its a late, 2014 Model with a mechanical hdd, can this be replaced with an SSD (something like a Crucial MX500) without having to desolder anything ?, simply I would like to remove the old drive and slide the new one straight in. I dont have the unit with me to visually check as its a family members one and they are a few hundred miles away from me..
