MacBook 1066MHz DDR3 ram upgrade

I have a Macbook pro i7, 2.2GHz, 15 inch, 2011.

I want to upgrade the memory. i have 2 4GB DDR3 cards but they are 1066GHZ not the specified 1333GHz. will it be ok to use these

If it does work it will slow the whole thing down but it might not even fit.
