Phone will not power on with the front camera connected

So I was repairing a customers iPhone 5 and when I was testing the screen it powered on (noticed the front camera wasn’t connected all the way) so I turned it off plugged it in and tried to power it back on but it wouldn’t until I unpluged the front camera again

What’s going on and what can I do to fix it?

Options

Probably the front camera assembly is faulty, could be ripped front camera flex cable. Try another one.
