Help my MacBook becomes hot and then becomes slow

Hey so i bought a Macbook Pro Late 2011 Second hand from a friend of mine and i has been working fine for a long time so one day it started to get a bit slow so I added some ram to it, which solved the problem but now it gets hot and really slow even though I have swapped out the original Apple 500GB HDD with a 256GB Samsung ssd

please help what parts would you guys recommend that I change on it I really like this Macbook and im not prepaired to go and buy a new 2017 model for those ridicoules prices that they are being sold for Pretty please help what do I do?

Computers need to be cleaned inside every now and then to get back the correct air flow to allow proper cooling. Being a 7 years old Mac it would need to remove fans, logic board and heatsink to clean them up..heatsink might be partially or very clogged by dust. Thermal paste is probably dry after all this time and needs replaced. Summertime temperatures just make things worse. Overheating may damage logic board beyond repair sometimes. I would suggest before anything else to take up this task yourself if you feel like it or just pay a pro to do it for you.
