Screen ribbon plug will not seat

The screen has 3 ribbons that need to plug into the phone. The first one snapped in fine. The second plug would not snap in. I tried snapping the original screen and it snapped in with no problem. I was not able to install the new screen.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Inspect the connector on the phone and on the screens. If the old one snaps in fine then it's possible that the connector on the screen is damaged.

Or it could be that the OP is trying to plug in a 5s screen on a 5C which use different connectors.

The 5c screen has an extra screw hole at the top right that screws into the metal back plate that goes behind the screen.

You're right. I forgot about that. I usually compare the size of the black plastic part near the top of the phone. The 5s is thinner than the 5c
