trackpad wont click down at all

when i say it wont click, i mean it is tap reseponsive, it just wont click down, its been happening for about a year now and i need help. it will not click down as in i cannot drag photos or files without the help of a mouse.

Your model uses a touchpad which unlike the older trackpad does not have a mechanical clip plate. There is no means of adjustment only replacement. Actually there is an adjustment screw that you could try before replacing the trackpad, if you have the laptop open, it is at the bottom center, right below the trackpad, you can see it in the video thumbnail. It is a T5 screw. Try that first before replacing the trackpad.
