Hey bud,

There are many test points on an iPhone motherboard and all test different parts of the board. I use them to test correct voltages or to repair damaged tracks/lines by running jumpers to them.

Thanks a lot :) So for Example.. if i test with multimeter on iphone 6 Board on TP2518.. (PP_LCM_BL_CAT1_CONN = 0,2 volt) i have 0,2 voltage on my multimeter if averything is right???

Cuold u plz give me one example, when these points are useful for check if the track is broken or not? thanks a lot @Opie

Yes bud that’s correct. Also 1 way to use a test point to bypass tracks are, sometimes iPhones have a searching/no sim fault. This can be (but not always) the bb_cpu where pads U1 and P1 get damaged as they are on the flexible part of the board. Pad P1 can then be jumped round the board to PP3171 and U1 to PP3147. Otherwise you would have to jump a wire underneath other ic’s.

Thanks Lee... :))
