Why doesn’t the Touch ID work after replacing the home button

Hello, there

I just changed the home button in my iPhone 6s Plus.. the Touch ID work before fine but now it doesn’t after I changed and order a new home botton from IFixit..

Please help

well, the problem is that if you change the home button, it will not work for touch id anymore. reason being, every home button is paired to the logic board. only the original home button will work for touch id.

Note in product description:

Note: the Touch ID function will only work with your phone's original home button assembly. Installing a new home button will only restore ordinary home button functionality—not Touch ID features.

Hi I have a problem with my 6s plus, I changed over the original home button to new full screen assembly but the Touch ID does not work, I even restored to latest iOS three times can you help please.
