Cellular version of Apple's 2nd generation iPad Air. Model A1567.

My ipad screen getting wrong.

Can anyone explain what wrong with my screen? I tend to order a new screen and replace by myself but I'm not sure what the cause is? I’ll appreciate if anyone had the same problem with me and share your experiences for a precisely diagnostic! Thanks you so much!

I would tend to suspect a damaged screen. However as Nicky suggested, you should try to do a hard reset (Home & Power Button for 10 secs) of the device to see if that helps. If it doesn't then the next step is to try a replacement screen. Unfortunately, iPad Air 2 replacement screens are very expensive right now. You could bring it into a shop and ask them to see if the screen is the issue. They may charge you a diagnostic fee but that is less expensive than ordering a screen just to find out.

My Ipad Air 2 had the same problem. It would return to normal after a day of non use. It slowly got worse until the screen would freeze and go black. Given that new info, do you still suspect a bad screen, or is it more likely the logic board? Thanks in advance.

Did you try take a backup and reset the ipad ? i highly doubt this is a screen problem, more like a software problem, also it could be a defect homebutton in the meaning that it will work but if you click it it wil stay clicked giving you everything to see ( siri and so on )
