No WLAN card shown but Bluetooth works

Hi,

I've a problem with my Wifi. i have no wlan. There is no wlan symbol top panel and the card won't show in the Sytem profiler under Wifi. BUT the Bluetooth works fine....

I tryed to reset the PRAM and SMC. Also I formarted the hole hard drive and reinstall MacOSX....

Maybe someone has a clue and can help me....:/

Since Smc and Pram resets didn't solve your problem it's probably a hardware issue. You can use the following guide to access the wlan/Bt board and in the process check that all cables are seated properly and firmly. In case cables are fine, changing the relevant board seems to me the only reasonable option.

It's an about 10 years old Mac, no wonder something might fail after such a long time.
