Why is my calculator spontaneously clearing the RAM?

Often times when I turn on my calculator or if I'm just using it in general it will glitch and say RAM clear, when I shake my calculator I can hear a clicking noise. Is there a way to fix it?

Check your battery compartment to see if the contact is loose. It's also possible you have a loose screw which is shorting across things when you shake it around. Carefully pull off the back and then shake it to see what falls out. Make sure you don't loose it in the process! If you can't figure out what it is post an image of it here for us to see.
