Extra Screws left in Phones From Manufacturer?

I am a New Tech Repairing Phones. Any other Techs finding extra Screws flouting around in the newer Gen apple phone? I have all screws accounted for but this the 5th phone. I have had extra Screws in it upon opening it.

Are you saying that you open up a phone for the first time and already there is an extra screw floating around? If not, how do you keep track of the screws you remove?

I've never had that happen and the odds that it happens to you 5 times seems extremely low. I'm curious to see if other techs, like @benjamen50, have had this happen.

I am Not 100% sure I am the first one is these phones, but I use a magnetic work sheet from this web page and I have phone specific screws sheets too, from another. Each screw is place on the sheet and length and count of how many is written on the sheet.

Only had this happen once which was on an iPhone 7, extra tri-wing screw sitting next to the battery.

Having extra screws is always a good thing :) but not so much when it's moving inside the phone.
