I replaced the trackpad have press hard for touch

I replaced the trackpad. everything works fine except the touch. Have to press very hard to use the touch

It sounds like you over tightened the click screw. Go back to the MacBook Air 13" Mid 2013 Trackpad Replacement guide and review step 10.

Inside the macbook air where you replaced the trackpad there is a screw (bottom-middle of this image

), you may need to adjust this to change click pressure.

When I initially replaced the trackpad I never touched the adjustment screw.

Opened up the computer and made a 1/4 turn clockwise on the adjustment screw and now everything is as it should be. Thank you.
