I have replaced the front screen assembly but the screen is black.

I am fixin an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 for a client. The screen was black but the notification and bottom lights do light up. After replacing the assembly the screen still won’t turn on. What do I need to do?

Sounds like it could be a dodgy screen, have you tried connecting another one up just to check?

So if you can hear it and the lights come up but you cant see anything its going to be either it's not connected correctly or the screen (LCD) is damaged or faulty.

Okay, could it be the logic board?

Does the phone vibrate or produce sound when you would expect it to be on? Have you tested with a charging indicator to see that it is actually taking a charge as normal?
