WiFi Hardware Still Not Found After Replacing Airport Card

Hi,

I just replaced my airport card and it still says me “Wi-Fi : No hardware installed”…

I was thinking maybe it would be the cable like this one :

MacBook Pro 15" Unibody (Early 2011-Mid 2012) Airport/Bluetooth Cable

Is there any way to electrically test cable so I won't buy another mac part for nothing?

I already paid 50$ for airport card, I don't know if I can even return it to ifixit because maybe I won't be needing it... This little cable costs 29,99$ :/

I hope someone could tell me a little more, I can’t find anything about this problem except here !

Thanks in advance,

Rose

@rosel - IFIXIT will take the part in return. But, why don't you wait until you've had a chance to replace the cable first in case both parts are needed.

Hello Dan,

Thanks for your answer !

I will try to see if I'll order the cable this week, what is the due date to return it back?
