Which conversion kit / what specs for LCD - External monitor?

Recently the graphics card crashed on my late 09' iMac (EMC 2374)

Seemed redundant to upgrade so am trying to convert to external monitor.

The part number of the LCD is LM270WQ1 (SD) (A2).

So far have found a few Chinese sellers on eBay but am unsure of what I should be looking for in terms of compatibility

Any extra background you could pass onto me about complications I could expect doing this would be appreciated as am relatively new to being handy.

It will use up to a 30-inch external display (2560x1600).

It has a Mini DisplayPort output port with support for DVI, VGA, and dual-link DVI via adapter
