No power after keyboard replacement

No power on my Mac book pro 13" after keyboard replacement. No light on magsafe adapter. No sounds.

During replacement of keyboard where power button goes there was a little washer that fell out when I tipped the Mac up. Not sure if I got it back in the right place? Outside of this I checked all connections, tried smc reset with sync keys. Held power button and also unplugged battery cable numerous times. Could it be the washer that fell out is in the wrong place? At a loss.

Thanks, Carl

P.S.

Im a PC tech so have understanding of laptops but rarely have worked on Macs

I would remove again the logic board to double check the washer didn't end up in the wrong place and is shorting/has shorted something. Since it's an i5/i7 machine it will start on its own without battery, thus I'd suggest removing battery and unplug the keyboard an see if it starts when plugging in magsafe.

By the way, the only washer I can think of is the one between the power button and keyboard..so I'm afraid you'd have to remove keyboard power button again anyways..
