Multiple problems with hearing

1. When my headphones are plugged in the sound is still coming through the speakers, I tried to cleans the ear jack but still nothing

2. When I turn off my phone and try to turn it on again it takes a while to turn on, more then usual and will stay a long time with the apple icon on and nothing else

3. When I answer calls I can’t hear the other person or put my phone on speaker, and now it just immediately disconnects.

4. I don’t know if these problems are related or are individual problems but they all started happening recently and I have had my iPhone 7 for approximately a year and it worked perfectly fine up until now. Anyone knows what’s going on, my problem with my phone seems more complicated than others so I can’t find an answer anywhere online.

The iPhone 7 suffers from some poor quality copper traces in and around the Audio IC. These typically cause touch lagging and other issues. This could also be the reason why your audio output is not working properly, although the lack of sound in the headphone may just be caused by a defective Lightning Flex cable.

If you want to try something yourself, I would replace the Lightning Flex to see if that helps, otherwise, your phone will require a micro-soldering repair.
