Laptop keeps cutting out from startup sometimes makes it to desktop.

Macbook air loads to desktop then after a very short while cuts to black screen and needs to be switched on again. Unfortunately it doesn't reload again.

Loading screen when unplugged takes forever sometimes makes it to desktop sometimes not. When plugged into wall fine works a treat. Is it battery or logic board or both. Have reset everything and it still keeps doing the same problem over and over again, until plugged into charger.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Check for liquid damage main component I see on Airs that fails is the trackpad flex cable on the side that plugs in to the trackpad. Also check I/O board and I/O cable. If all look good, then could be a board level issue.
