Burned Circuit Smell & Won't turn on

Suddenly my brand new Macbook Air turn off with a crack and has a burnt circuit smell, if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know! Help appreciated :)

(Computer was fully charged)

Yikes! Do you know how to take the bottom cover off? If not, I believe you just have to remove a few Phillips screws an lift/pry off the bottom casing. If you can open it, let us all know what you see!

@tootsky3 when's the last time you opened a Mac? No Phillips screws in the bottom cover since 2012. Just Pentalobe.

Don't touch it or try to repair it!!

Take it as fast as you can to Apple AND GET A WARRANTY REPAIR. THEN CONSIDER GETTING AN ADDITIONAL TWO YEARS OF COVERAGE WITH APPLE CARE.

Sounds like something decided to go up in smoke. I would go with mayer's answer, as you do not want to cause more damage than what has already been done.
