iPhone 6 won’t keep good reception

I have a habit of breaking everything I ever get. I’ve replaced my iPhone 6 screen 20-25 times over the past 2 years. When I’m out and about I have very bad reception. I get one bar with 1x. If I put it in airplane mode and out, it will connect to LTE and work for a while sometimes. I don’t know what to replace, I’ve replaced everything imaginable on my old phone, my old iPhone 5s. Could it be my antenna? On my last phone when the antenna went bad I had no service or searching. This iPhone only does that every few days. Pleas help!

If you truly broke your screen a few dozens times, then your issue is probably logic board related. There's only so much abuse the board can take before it starts developing cracks in the tiny solder balls that connect the IC's to the logic board. The iPhone 6 is already prone to developing "searching" issues due to this very problem with the Baseband IC.

You can always check the antennas but the GSM antenna is embedded in the housing. Check inside to see if there are any loose or missing screws or any antenna connectors that are loose or disconnected. Beyond that, you most likely have a logic board issue.
