Screw Size Dimensions per Device

Is it possible, if not for all, to list the screw sizes used per device when putting together the device breakdown's?

I 've ordered some iPad 4 screws, and I'm sure everything's in the little bag, but which ones? No clue...

Please list us the dimensions per device?

As for now, I really need the iPad 4 ones in particular.

Thanks in advance

Hmmm.. When they can't tell us what's in the bag, they might just randomly pick some screws and tell us it's for device A, or it's for device B, and so on... While they actually don't even have a clue ..

Very, very strange IMHO...

Then they sure as !&&* can't sell us the good ones anyway..

So can any of you iFixit member/workers please give us the intel we need,

and please, no **** answers??

The screw sizes are all listed in the individual guides. Not in a neat and orderly fashion mind you but the information is there. As for the screws in the bag, you will just have to measure them with a digital caliper to get the right one.

If all the screws were listed and identified in those bags, they would cost 20-30$ :>).

I don't exactly need them to be labelled seperately, I just would like to know what's in the bag.

So, in order to fill the bag, they would have to know what screw to put in there, right?

So I don't think it's a hard job to just write down what size of screws, and how many of them are in there..

I do have a digital caliper, actually, I spent some extra money, and gotten me a micrometer, and thus, I would like to check if I have the right ones, because when I measure them, I don't actually have the same result as in the teardown (or other) guides...

I agree it would be nice to get a breakdown of what's in the bag. Unfortunately, no one offers that.

I'm really,REALLY not very sure about my answer, use it at your own risk.

I think that the screw sizes are the same where the display is. No idea about other internals :P

Sorry if i'm wasting your time :(

Reminds me of the TV commercial where the kid asks if this is a lug wrench and the other kids says, "maybe".

Pfff, what a bunch of crap, there goes the credibility of this forum...

iPad 4 and older ipads are low risk for using any screws in the screw hole, either they fit or they don't. Don't really have to worry about long screw damage.

And unfortunately nobody puts screws separately, they all just end up in one bag in most cases when you buy screw sets.

With experience you'll just have to sort them out as usual..
