What height graphics card can fit?

Hi I’m wondering if a a full height graphics card can fit in this iMac. And now not a PCIE x16. I’m blanking on what Slot this iMac has? So can this take a 4GB graphics card? The Specs of this iMac is on my profile.

You system has a MXM slot for a custom video card. Its either a ATI Radeon HD 5670 w/512 MB video RAM (Apple P/N 661-5578) or a ATI Radeon HD 5750 w/1 GB video RAM (Apple P/N 661-5579). Apple never offered anything larger for this series and you need to use their board as it has custom firmware.

You still have a limit on what boards you can use. Between what Apple has drivers for and the heat sink needs to fit.

That why I’m asking on this what’s the highest card that it will take. What drivers does Apple have and what to those drivers work on.

The card is a fixed size (check the link I gave you) The Drivers are based on what Apple sold. Look at EveryMac at the different boards. You'll need to open your system to measure it. I don't force fit other MXM boards on the most part.
