iPhone 5s touchscreen malfunctioning

Hi! I have an iPhone 5s and i have a few issues with ny touchscreen

Sometimes it works flawlessly ( now im writing this with it),but sometimes it malfunctions in a way that makes it unusable. It detects some taps as swipes,very fast swipes,and when i actually swipe nothing happens.

I tried a software update and that didn’t do the trick. Should reset it?

Any help?

Chances are that your screen needs to be replaced. Over time, small drops and knocks can damage the screen. If this screen is already a replacement screen, then it may be of lower quality that an Apple original screen.
