Parts of my Boogie Board are grey!

I have a Boogie Board (model 01582801516) and in one of the corners there's a large grey spot that won't go away.

Why is it like that? How can I fix it if it CAN be fixed?

Answer this question I have this problem too

@captainsnowball boogie board tablets are cheap e-ink displays with a limited battery for clearing what you've drawn on it. After the battery runs out you can't clear it anymore. It's cheap and designed to be disposable. Sometimes points on the screen get dots that cannot be erased. Perhaps because someone pressures the screen to hard.

You should always google the device before answering a question.

I took a look at it. I have a kindle and I beleive its the same mechanism. but as he said, he cannot get it to go away. presumably he tried turning it on.

No Aiden, you don't turn it on. It's a very basic device. You write something on it, it stays there until you hit the clear button at the top which refreshes the screen once. It's a totally analog device.

I've owned it for a few years. I think I got it when I turned 10?
