I would like to now if I can upgrade my logic board to a faster model.. 2.6 or 2.8Mhz?

I looked online but did not see anything for a 17" I did see something about a 15"...

I found nothing about being able to upgrade your logic board. It appears your machine will only take 2 GB of RAM. The only thing left is a hard drive upgrade to a 7200 RPM drive like a Western Digital Scorpio Black 320 GB or an SSD drive, like these:

You could also switch out the optical drive using a optical bay hard drive adapter and use an external optical drive.
