Ram Bank 1 showing that it is empty.

I noticed that about 90% of the time my MacBook Pro shows that only one of the RAM banks works. I have switched the ram sticks to each bank and only Bank 0 reads the stick. Any solutions?

You can try removing your RAM and cleaning the sockets with isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush. If that does not work the only solution I know off is to replace the logic board. Frankly I would just use the one bank instead of spending that amount of money.

+ RAM slots do go bad but will sometimes take a smaller meg chip. This is the first I have seen in your model so the cleaning is in order.
