Can I change logic board from 2.2GHz to 2.4Ghz and use same RAM

The logic board on my MacBook Pro has a damaged video card. The only solution seems to be to change the whole logic board. The current clock rate is 2.2Ghz and I have installed 16GB RAM.

So, the questions are:

1) can I change the logic board to a 2.4GHz version?

2) If so, can I use the same RAM chips (2x8GB)?

Should be able to as long its from the same make year and model.

The 2012 models use different RAM modules.
