Why does my controller move left periodically?

my screen keeps moving left while scrolling through the web browser and while playing games.

Hi OTAKU FOR LIFE, is the controller under warranty? how long had you used the dualshock controller? most probably the contact inside could be oxidise or poor / bad contact, thus making an alien gesture.
