No light on MagSafe adapter, IO board not at fault.

Hello,

I have a 2013 MacBook Air (A1466) and it has no power/charge.

The MagSafe adapted works on another MacBook and I I purchased and replaced a I/O Board but the problem still pursuits.

What else can I try?

Thanks in advance!

Scott

Sadly your logic board has a problem within the power services.

You could swap out the logic board or find someone with the skills and tools to diagnose what component/s are damaged on the board.

That was my fear as it’s rsther expensive to fix.

Would it be worth trying another battery first is if it 100% going to be something on the logic board?

Thanks for the help!

Maybe this will help. I think it's probably the SMC. have you tried resetting it? https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
