No video after HDMI port replacment.

I recently completed an hdmi port swap on a customer's ps4. The port is on securely and all the pins have continuity with the board, but I still can't get a picture out of it. The system is able to boot up to the white light as well. My main question is how to determin if the SMCs by the port are bad or the IC chip?
