My washer seems to have a problem with the door lock and is hard to st

My washer just clicks when I try to start it and gives a Fdl report. It seems to be the door lock and if I slam it enough times it starts. What can I do to fix it?

Options

If you see "Fdl" or "Fdu" error codes, these are usually indications of a failed door latch assembly and will require replacement. Please give us your model number and I will try to get you to the correct part
