2012 late mini and keyboard

I have 2012 Mac Mini, 2.3 GHz Intel core i7 and 4 GB memory.

I have a problem with the Mac wireless keyboard connecting to the Mac mini. I cant get it to connect!

I did change the batteries in keyboard. Bluetooth icon does not show wireless keyboard connect to this mac mini. I borrowed my friend’s iMac wireless keyboard (he bought new 2017 last spring) and it still not working on my Mac mini.

Cause this mac mini’s rifi or sma bad? What wrong on mini ? Keyboard not good?

Appreciate any help.

First do you see a green light on the keyboard when you turn it on? Was it working before with this keyboard?

Does the wireless mouse work? Or, are you using a wired mouse?

Are you able to borrow a USB keyboard as we'll need it to work this out.

Green light works blink when it turn on. Yes, both of them were worked in good for years.

I took my wireless keyboard to Apple store and tested it good condition. Apple tech said, something wrong with my mac mini.

Run a good "Paid For" anti-virus on it, then give it a try.

Do I have to buy "antivirus" for my mac mini. Last time I bought anti-virus in 2004 on my Dell Laptop.
