"Hey Siri" is not working after replacing the cracked screen
I replaced the cracked screen on my iphone 6S plus A1634 model. Now Siri can only hear me if I push the home button. The "hey Siri" is not responding, it can't hear me unless the home button has been pushed first.
The settings are set with the proper check marks. It says it recognizes me. I did a hard restart and that is when I did get the phone to recognize my voice. It is not the end of the world but it definitely helps when driving hands-free. I have checked the general search for help, but I am wondering how can the screen replacement have affected the phone to now have this issue.
The replacement went well except, one of the tiny screws on the outside bottom of the phone is stripped and fell out and got lost. Could this actually have caused a problem like this? I can order a replacement screw.
I was thinking, maybe it had more to do with some piece of the glue gaskets are not exactly in their correct places and touching something they aren't suppose to touch. It would be helpful to have a suggestion as to which part of the glue would be out of position.
Is this a good question?
