How do I fix the digitizer and glass without destroying touch ID

I have an iPhone 6 and its screen wont respond to touch in certain areas so I purchased a new screen and digitizer and I need to know if theres a way I can replace the components without destroying touch ID functionality.

touch id is on the home button not the actual lcd, use the original home button and metal backplate and it should be fine
