Screen not working after home button replacement

Replaced 5s home button, but forgot to disconnect the battery before removing screen. After putting everything back together phone turns on, is recognized on iTunes but screen is not working. Baclight filter is not blown because there is nothing showing up on the screen even under a light source. Also battery started to act weird, it becomes dead in a few hours now while it's sitting on my desk.

Answer this question I have this problem too

What do you mean by battery started to act weird? did it expand or burst? start fizzing? also for touch ID to work apple needs to replace it for you. only they have the tools to pair the touch id with a phone. and with the display blown did you connect all cables correctly? was any of the insulation over the ribbon wires frayed?
