washer has power but will not start

I have a Whirlpool duet steamer washer. When pushing the start button it beeps 3 times and will not start the cycle. There are no error codes, but I reset the computer and the last error code is f17. Any suggestions? wfw9700va00

Options

Check your wiring to the control unit. This sounds like a loose wire. That failing use a multimeter and test for continuity.
