Bad - no celluar coverage

Okay so have this iPhone 6 with little till absolutely none celluar.. I have looked into it, there is not any physical damage to either wifi/gps antenna, or celluar antenna that i can see, nor on the connections, but i went ahead and ordered the new wifi antenna and celluar antenna.

but is there a way i could check if the IC chips are bad or something?

Try Dialing *#06#, do you get your IMEI? Also, look in settings and see if your IMEI is listed there and also Modem Version. there are a few IC chips on the logic board that can lose connection, have bad traces (Pads) or just be in need of replacing.

Knowing if *#06# brings up IMEI and if IMEI and Modem are listed in settings can help know if you are experiencing a chip problem, software issue or just a antenna issue.

The Charging port has your "Data" antenna and your upper antenna is for your Wifi/Bluetooth/GPS

Be sure you have all the updates installed for the system and do a factory reset just to check that it isn't a software issue. If it isn't software related, possibly the parts that deals with the cellular side has gone bad. The wires is a good idea to see if they haven't gone but they aren't usually the common reason. Still worth a shot.
