So,

The processor is connected to the motherboard inside the phone,

To get this fixed you'd have too find another of the exact same motherboard, and due to the phone build being discontinued. Their wouldn't be many new ones out their. If you do happen to find a replica of your phone that per-say has just external damage, you could use the inside. But to be honest, it's probably a lot cheaper to get a new phone on the prices that these phone repair shops charge, unless of course you do the repair yourself.

Good luck! :)

Brayden to help fiinish your answer you could put in that a motherboard can be purchased on ebayand link to the site https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Samsung-galaxy-A...

preferably an unlocked one . Then you can provide a teardown video with some soothing backgound music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LV6cV_G6... and finally explain the data he once had on the phone is now gone because the phone is basically a different phone and then just for good measure be nice and say Hope this helps.

@darkethereal @mayer is trying to explain through his soft and gentle way that the point of ifixit is to help people fixit . By the way Brayden welcome to ifixit , hope you stick around

@darkethereal remember the reason behind iFixit "Every time you fix something, you help the planet by keeping hardware out of landfills." we do not worry about the age, the cost or the make /model of the device. We care about empowering others to fix their device, regardless of how we feel about those. Repair, don't replace!
