battery

Hello,

i have to change the battery for my 3gs.

I looked in to your manual, very good. But just one question, does te battery have to be welded or is it just "plugged" in ? Thanks for your answer.

As a note: what you are thinking of is soldering, not welding, welding is for big pieces of metal, sheet metal and sorts. Soldering is for small scale wires and electronics.

no, you don't need to solder the battery back in when replacing it, there are simply some metal contacts which connect it to the logic board when you stick the new battery back in the iPhone
