I need to replace the screen. Can you make a tutorial?
theres a black line down the left side of the screen and I need to replace it.

It's under warranty. Take it to Apple!

I fear he banged his system so there is a visible dent on the lid which would void the standard AppleCare warranty coverage but with AppleCare + they will give him a break. AppleCare protection plan
@danj I did not read into the question anything about a dent.
@mayer - I didn't either, its just conjecture given the issue of a black line.

Have you tried locating the needed part yet? So far whats available is quite expensive! Retina MacBook Pro 15" Complete Display - Silver $1,232.60 US.
I would recommend you see what Apple charges for a replacement. If you have Applecare + before you go in it will be cheaper <hint!>
"Coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage, each subject to a service fee of $99 for screen damage or external enclosure damage, or $299 for other damage, plus applicable tax"

For reference review the steps in replacing the older system: MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2015 Display Assembly Replacement. Unlike the older models which used a hollow hing to pass the lines from the display this series uses the middle clutch cover at the entry point. There are two compression connectors that break the ribbon connections.
