Why is my camera taking pictures in half screen

my camera is taking pictures in half screen. black bars at top and bottom. how can I fix this. I cant seem to find adjustment settings.

Hi!

Your phone might be taking photos at a 4:3 aspect ratio. This usually results in better quality photos at the cost of the "black bars" you mention. To change this setting back to the 16:9 (wide) aspect ratio, open up the camera and hit the settings button and set the photo size to 9.6MP (16:9) instead of 13MP (4:3).

why is my galaxy s7 take a photo i can look at it, its ok but later when i look at it again half the picture is blacked out. then going thought my photo a lot of my old photos have blackout
